Communication with Parents
: Regularly updating parents about their child's progress and any concerns is a vital part of the role. Practitioners maintain detailed records of each child's development.
Educational Support
: They help children develop core skills such as literacy and numeracy through engaging activities like reading and counting games.
Personal Care
: For younger children, practitioners assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, changing nappies, and toilet training
Level 2/3 childcare qualification (minimum) or equivalent or Play work qualification
Safeguarding Certificate
Knowledge and understanding of child development
Paediatric First Aid certificate
