Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Swimming Teacher to join our team and work on Saturday mornings from 8.30 - 12.00.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching have great communication skills. You will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Duties
Conduct swimming lessons for various age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Teach essential swimming techniques, water safety skills, and stroke improvement. Monitor learners progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations. Communicate effectively with learners and their parents regarding progress.
Qualifications
Level 2 STA or Swim England Swimming Teaching Qualification. Enhanced DBS, Insurance And ideally a swimming teachers safety award. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and motivating learning environment. Must be patient, adaptable, and passionate about promoting water safety and swimming proficiency.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 20.00-30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3.5 per week
