The Role





Forest Lodge Academy requires - A Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term until 10th July 2026)

Salary:

NJC Point 7 -12 - 18,550.12 (Actual salary per Annum on NJC Point 7) - 30 Hours per week

Hours of work:

8.40 - 3.10 pm with 30 Minutes for Lunch.

We are looking for an excellent Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join our school team who;



Has experience of working/supporting pupils with SEND or a desire to do so


GCSE pass level or equivalent qualification in Maths/Numeracy & English or significant demonstrable experience in a similar role


Has excellent knowledge of children's early developmental needs


Is a team player with good interpersonal skills


Effective communication skills enabling professional dialogues with all staff and stakeholders


Resilience and flexibility of adapting and using initiative in a variety of situations in a timely manner


Ability to use relevant technology/equipment


A can do approach to a variety of situations


Is positive in their approach to their work and with all members of the school community


Is patient, caring, understanding, positive and supportive
