Core Aquatics is a multi award winning swim school, teaching children to swim in Nottingham High School and West Bridgford School. We teach all ages and abilities and also support swimmers with other abilities through our Autism Swim Approved status and work with Autism Swim.
We specialise in small group tuition, one to one and two to one lessons for children 3 years old to, and including, adults. We also offer lessons to swimmers with other abilities, with many of our team engaging in supplementary training provided by the STA and Autism Swim.

The Role:
Core Aquatics are looking for swimming teachers to join our Nottinghamshire venue teams (West Bridgford School, Nottingham High School).
To teach swimmers of all ages and abilities to swim by developing their swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water.
Core Aquatics would love to hear from Level 2 qualified Swim Teachers in any of the areas listed above, who are experienced in planning and delivering lessons - if you are not currently qualified as a swimming teacher but would like to be then please do get in touch and we can talk about joining the industry.*
We are looking for professional, responsible, reliable and self-motivated Swim Teachers, with good knowledge of all 4 strokes. We ask that team members are willing to upskill and obtain further qualifications during their time with us (e.g., NPLQ, STA Disability Award).
Essential qualifications:
ASA/Swim England Level 1 & Level 2, or STA Award and/or STA Certificate
Safeguarding Certificate
STA Disability Teaching Certificate (desirable)
1 year teaching experience, including teaching swimmers with other abilities (desirable)
You will be required to provide proof of all your qualifications prior to interview.
If successful at interview, applicants must pass an Enhanced Data Barring Service Check, paid for by the applicant (unless part of the update service). We will also require you to provide a valid Safeguarding Certificate.
