As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging swimming lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of each student. Assess students' swimming skills and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement. Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere during lessons, adhering to all safety protocols. Develop lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of swimming techniques. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pool area before, during, and after lessons.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, particularly in swimming or aquatic activities. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds. A thorough understanding of swimming techniques and safety practices in aquatic environments. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Relevant certifications in lifeguarding or swim instruction are preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate. A positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with individuals in a learning environment.
