We're on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated

Swim Instructor

to join our friendly and supportive team at

Friary Grange Leisure Centre

As a Swim Instructor, you'll play a key role in teaching swimming to individuals of all ages and abilities--helping them build confidence, improve technique, and stay safe in the water. Every day brings variety and the chance to make a real difference in people's lives.

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver fun, safe, and engaging swim lessons for children and adults Tailor lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities Teach swimming strokes, breathing techniques, and essential water safety Inspire and motivate swimmers with positive feedback and encouragement Maintain high safety standards throughout all sessions Track and record student progress and attendance accurately

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in swim instruction (preferred) Confident knowledge of swim techniques and safety procedures A positive, friendly communicator who enjoys working with all age groups

Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification

(essential) Ability to pass a background check

Hours:

11 hours per week, with opportunities to increase hours once employed.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.48 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 11 per week
