Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of swimming techniques. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating individuals of all ages on the fundamentals of swimming, ensuring their safety while fostering a love for the water.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual needs and learning styles. Educate swimmers on water safety practices and swimming techniques. Monitor swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants during lessons. Attend regular staff training and engage in CPD opportunities Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.

Skills

Strong ability to educate individuals effectively, adapting teaching methods as necessary. Experience of teaching swimming Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to engage with students of all ages. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations. A friendly and approachable demeanour that encourages participation and enjoyment in learning to swim. Certification in first aid and CPR is an advantage but not mandatory at the time of application.
