Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging swimming lessons to students of various ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Assess students' swimming skills and tailor lessons to meet their individual needs and goals. Promote water safety and ensure that all participants understand the importance of safe swimming practices. Monitor students during lessons to provide constructive feedback and encouragement. Maintain a clean and safe pool environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with students and their parents regarding progress and areas for improvement. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages. A passion for swimming and a commitment to promoting water safety. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Relevant qualifications in swimming instruction or lifeguarding are an advantage but not mandatory. Must be able to demonstrate strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming techniques.
