You will need to demonstrate
Your ability to work as part of a very enthusiastic team.
Experience of working with children with SEND
Commitment, flexibility and energy.
Excellent behaviour management skills.
A knowledge of the EYFS/ Key Stage 1 & 2 National Curriculum and assessment.
EYFS Qualification is desirable
Willing to undertake suitable training for your own professional development.
Happy to support the ethos of the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing support to pupils to achieve learning goals e.g. leading phonic sessions.
Providing support to pupils with SEND - You will be based in our Inclusion Hub working with children who have a range of complex needs
Assisting the teacher with the planning of learning activities.
Assisting in maintaining classroom discipline through the implementation of the school's behaviour management strategies.
Assisting with the day-to-day routines of a classroom including the preparation of resources.
Assisting the teacher in monitoring pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed.
Visits to the school are welcomed in September.
