We're looking for someone who:
While we value experience, it is not essential to have previously worked in an education setting or with autistic individuals. Our comprehensive induction, training and mentoring will give you all the skills and tools you need to thrive in your career.
All that we ask is that you are willing to learn, able to use your initiative, and have a drive and resilience for what can be a demanding role. You should be friendly and approachable with good communication skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with both staff and pupils
About the role:
Working independently and as part of a team, you will support autistic and neurodivergent children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study in one of the Society's specialist schools.

Our Salary is from B1 23,975.47 working through points to B4 25,505.00
"To progress within the points band, applicants must complete a qualification relevant to the role, if they do not already hold one. The society will cover the cost of this qualification, and once successfully completed, the employee will be eligible to move up the points. Please note, it is mandatory for this role to either already hold the qualification or begin working towards this certification once you join the society."
