Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our fantastic team to work as part of our Pre-School, Out of School Club and Holiday Club. We are in the process of expanding to create a brand new baby provision due to open in November.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and reliable, holding at least a level 2 in Childcare or equivalent qualification however, level 3 would be desirable. Experience in a baby provision preferred.

First Aid, Food Hygiene or Safeguarding Awareness is preferred, however training will be given.

Hours can be discussed upon interview, with both part time and full time hours available.

The main duties include working with children aged 0 to 13 years, providing a safe, stimulating and high quality array of activities whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children. Candidates must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS, ability to take their own initiative and work well as part of a small team. You must have the confidence and imagination to walk into work each day, not knowing if you will be turned into a frog or be the leader of the konga line. You must have a happy and smiling face, who pretends the cupcakes in the home corner are the most delicious things you have ever tasted. You must be able to shake your sillies out every morning and know all the words to baby shark.
