Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Own transport would be ideal due to the location of the nursery- also commutable by no.13 bus and Granta Park commuter buses travelling to Cambridge and Whittlesford.

Pay:

27,352 - 29,848 per Annum. based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours:

Full time 40 hours flexible over 4 full days / or 37.5 hours over 3 full days and 2 half days. Working hours are between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. (Part-time full days also considered)

About our Nursery

The Old Station Nursery Granta Park is a premium nursery offering four extra learning enhancements for our children; these are Organic growing, Cookery and Language lessons; all delivered in a Montessori inspired way which encourages practical learning at each child's unique pace.The nursery is located in Granta Park, conveniently located just 5 minutes from M11/A505 junction with quick access to central Cambridge with ample parking. It is a truly unique setting with an onsite Gym and Restaurant that our team benefit from a 50% discount as well as beautiful walks to take on your lunchbreak.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you'll:


Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care. Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
