To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Pay:

25,625 - 27,515 per Annum. based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours:

ull time 42.5 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday (8-5, 8:30-5:30, 9-6)

About our Nursery

In the picturesque village of Little Houghton in Northamptonshire, Little Houghton Day Nursery offers a nurturing and enriching environment for your child's early education. Situated in a charming rural setting, our nursery provides children with a variety of learning opportunities that allow them to explore their interests and develop their unique talents. Little Houghton Day Nursery is just to the south of Northampton, off the A428 (Bedford to Northampton Road), next to the local church St Mary The Virgin. The nursery is only a short drive away from other local villages, such as Great Houghton, Brafield-on-the-Green, Cogenhoe and Grendon. Parking is available outside the nursery.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you'll:


Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care. Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
