Rise and Shine Day Nursery are delighted to be adding to our amazing and ever growing team. We are looking for someone who is caring, dedicated and enthusiastic to work with our wonderful children!

Main responsibilities

To maintain a safe secure environment for all of the children.

Ensure that the emotional, social, intellectual and physical needs of the children are met.

Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Report to senior members of staff if any problems or seeking advice

To keep records of work, and plan and carry out observations

To be able to work towards and maintain all standards.

To follow an Early Years framework, being responsible for your key children's recording, development and planning, ensuring they are always up to date and asking for help if needed.

To attend all staff meetings and training evenings.

Maintaining staff ratios.

Ensuring the preparation, care cleanliness and maintenance of the room is to a high standard at all times.

Adhere to any tasks or duties given to you from your head of room

Communicate with children consistently.

Plan and carry out activities for all children ensuring they are fun, stimulating and suitable for their age and stage of development.

. Follow safeguarding procedures and policies

Job Types: Part- time

Must be able to work shifts between 7:15 and 18:15 2 working days with some over time to cover holidays/ sickness Must be Level 2 or 3 qualified in childcare

Experience:

Childcare: At least one year of experience of working with children.
