Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education and childcare. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals to develop essential skills in managing a nursery environment, supporting children's learning, and fostering their development.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a nursery setting. Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities that promote children's growth and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning environment. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery space conducive to learning. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development. Manage daily tasks efficiently while demonstrating leadership qualities within the team.

Requirements

A passion for working with children and an interest in early childhood education. Previous experience in childcare or working with children is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is preferred for potential off-site activities or training sessions. Demonstrated leadership skills or the willingness to develop these skills within a team environment. A commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting.
