We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess strong management and leadership skills. Duties
Provide attentive care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote developmental growth in line with early childhood education principles
Supervise children during play, meal times, and rest periods, fostering a positive environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs
Maintain accurate records of children's activities, behaviour, and developmental milestones
Lead and manage small teams of childcare assistants, demonstrating leadership and organisational skills
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery or childcare setting
Assist with organising daily routines and special events to enrich the children's experience
Drive company vehicles as required for outings or transporting children safely
Requirements
Proven experience with children, including nursery or childcare experience
Knowledge of early childhood education practices and child development stages
Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee staff and coordinate activities effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Valid driving licence with clean driving record for transporting children when necessary
Experience working with children with special needs is a plus but not essential
