Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner to provide high-quality care and support to children within a nursery or early childhood education setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the developmental needs of young children. Duties

Deliver personalised care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met Organise and supervise activities that promote learning, socialisation, and development in line with early childhood education standards Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure clear understanding of each child's progress and needs Support behavioural management strategies to encourage positive behaviour Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play Manage administrative tasks related to child records and activity planning Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, management skills, and leadership within the team

Qualifications

Level 3 childcare qualification Experience working with children in childcare settings or nursery environments Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents Nursery experience are highly desirable Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating patience, organisation, and a caring attitude
