Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprentice to join our healthcare team. Duties

Assist dental practitioners during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Monitor and observe patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. Prepare and assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, Foley catheter care, IV insertion, and tube feeding. Document patient information accurately in medical records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support patient assessment by collecting relevant health data and observing patient responses during treatment. Administer medications as directed by supervising clinicians, adhering to safety standards and medication administration protocols. Perform basic life support (BLS) when necessary and assist with physical examinations and physiology assessments. Maintain cleanliness of clinical areas, sterilize equipment, and ensure all supplies are stocked and ready for use. Provide compassionate patient service by assisting with patient intake, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Support care plans development by documenting observations, updating medical records, and reviewing documentation for accuracy.

Experience

Previous experience or training in nursing or healthcare settings is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic nursing practices such as catheter care, patient monitoring, and vital signs measurement is preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management is desirable. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Certification or training in basic life support (BLS) is a plus but can be obtained during the apprenticeship program. Pay: 7.55-12.50 per hour
