Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities

As an Apprentice, you will be actively involved in all aspects of our early years setting, supported by experienced educators.

Program Support:

Assist in planning and implementing stimulating, age-appropriate activities and educational programs.

Environment Creation:

Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all children.

Observation & Record Keeping:

Learn to observe and accurately record children's progress, maintaining records of attendance, development, and achievements.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with experienced educators and professionals to support children's diverse and individual needs.

Parent Communication:

Assist in communicating effectively with parents, providing timely updates on their child's learning and development.

Safety & Care:

Ensure the continuous health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, following established procedures.

Relationship Building:

Actively foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Essential Qualities & Training Focus

The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine commitment to the apprenticeship path and possess the following qualities:

Commitment to Learning:

Willingness to engage fully with the Apprenticeship curriculum and training requirements.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging effectively with children and adults.

Exceptional patience, empathy, and the natural ability to connect with young children.

Organizational Skills:

Good organizational skills and the capacity to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.

Skills Development:

You will gain all necessary knowledge and technical skills whilst working towards your formal Early Years Apprenticeship qualification.

Job Types: Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
