We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice
. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a childcare setting while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
As an apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the nursery, contribute to the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years, and work alongside a team of experienced educators. You will learn how to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Support the observation and assessment of children's development.
Help ensure a safe and secure environment for all children, following health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Promote inclusive practice and provide care and support for children with varying needs.
Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of learning environments and resources.
Support children with personal care routines, including feeding and toileting.
Attend team meetings, training sessions, and reviews as required.
Complete assignments and tasks as part of your apprenticeship programme.
Requirements
Essential:
A genuine interest in working with children and early years education.
Willingness to learn and commit to the full duration of the apprenticeship.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.
Desirable:
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship.
Some experience in a childcare or early years setting is beneficial but not essential.
