Early Years Educator

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Planning & Implementation:

Plan, prepare, and implement stimulating, age-appropriate activities and educational programs aligned with best practices in early childhood education.

Child Development & Assessment:

Observe and accurately assess each child's progress, maintaining meticulous records of attendance, development, and achievements.

Safe & Inclusive Environment:

Ensure the continuous health, safety, and well-being of all children while actively fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space.

Family Partnership:

Communicate effectively and consistently with parents, providing regular, detailed updates on their child's learning, development, and daily experiences.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with fellow educators and external professionals to address and support children's individual and diverse learning needs.

Relationship Building:

Foster strong, positive, and trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a supportive community atmosphere.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Qualification:

A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related, relevant field is required.

Knowledge Base:

Comprehensive knowledge of child development theories and current best practices in early childhood education.

Interpersonal Skills:

Exceptional patience, empathy, and the ability to form strong, genuine connections with young children.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and the team.

Organizational Acumen:

Excellent organizational skills, proven ability to manage time effectively, and capability to multitask efficiently.

Adaptability:

Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the children and the requirements of the program.

Teamwork:

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as an engaged member of a professional team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
