FULL TIME POSITION
We are seeking a professional & inspiring Early Years Practitioner level 3, to join our Outstanding team of qualified professionals within our small early years setting.
We offer excellent working conditions with staff to child ratios beyond the statutory requirements, The nursery is sited in an area of outstanding natural beauty and we operate a Forest School scheme alongside our indoor and outdoor provision.
Practitioners will assist in providing a safe, stimulating, happy, and nurturing environment that reflects the needs and circumstances of children within the Pre-school room.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist in establishing, maintaining and developing an attractive educational and play environment, where indoor and outdoor spaces, equipment and materials are provided for children of all ages to promote their physical, emotional and social development through a wide range of arts, crafts, games and activities. To provide positive relationships with the children and to enable them to play and learn together co-cooperatively, increase their self-confidence and realise their potential. To be able to plan and work within the 7 areas of learning, to comply with the OFSTED goals/curriculum.
Essential Requirements
NNEB/Cache Diploma/Btec /Level 3 (or above qualification) Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. Including planning for individual children's development. To be able to work within a team. To be able to work on own initiative. To carry out all duties in a competent and efficient manner. To have good communication skills. To be trustworthy, reliable and have confidentiality.
