Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team, providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily nursery activities while fostering a safe and stimulating atmosphere for young learners.

Duties

Provide attentive care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks. Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, sharing updates with parents as necessary. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a welcoming nursery environment. Support the leadership team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery setting. Drive initiatives that enhance the overall nursery experience for children and families.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour. A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence among colleagues and children alike. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
