We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing young children in a safe and stimulating environment. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children aged 0-5 years. This position requires strong management and leadership skills, alongside a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play. Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and supported. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and wellbeing. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational programme. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the nursery environment at all times. Provide support in managing behaviour and resolving conflicts among children. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and childcare.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A background in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and staff effectively. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to drive is advantageous for potential outings or transporting materials as needed. A nurturing attitude with a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
