Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging learning opportunities and personalised care. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's early learning experiences while working within a supportive and professional setting.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning opportunities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and independence Observe and assess individual children's progress, maintaining accurate records of developmental milestones Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns Support children's emotional needs, providing comfort and reassurance as required

Skills

Experience of working in a busy nursery environment is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism when engaging with young children Organised with the ability to plan activities effectively while managing multiple priorities
1 X FULL TIME BABY ROOM 1 position (9 - 6 pm)

1 x MON, TUES, & WED BABY ROOM 2 position (7.30 - 6 pm)

1 X FULL TIME TODDLER ROOM position - (9 - 6 pm)

1 X WED, THURS & FRI TODDLER ROOM position (7.30 - 6 pm)

1 X MONDAY & TUESDAY PRESCHOOL 2 position (7.30 - 6 pm)

1 x MONDAY & TUESDAY PRESCHOOL 1 position (7.30 - 6 pm)

Must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare, including working with babies module or additional training.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ONLY HOLD A LEVEL 2 QUALIFICATION OR ARE WORKING TOWARDS LEVEL 3.

WE ARE ALSO UNABLE TO USE A HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE QUALIFICATION OR TEACHING ASSISTANT.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.32 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 42.5 per week
