You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that foster children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safeguarding policies.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational environment is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for early years education with the ability to inspire young learners.
