Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role is pivotal in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young learners. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of children, ensuring they thrive both academically and socially.

Duties



Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate educational activities that support children's learning and development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good conduct. Provide leadership within the team, mentoring less experienced staff members as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as safeguarding policies. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents that may occur.

Qualifications



Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or equivalent). Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is essential. Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through play-based learning. Knowledge of current early years frameworks and best practices in childcare. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 1.30 - 5.30 per week
