To care for and educate Babies/young Toddlers

Have good knowledge the importance of Safeguard the children

Have a good understanding of the "Birth to 5 matters"

Have an understanding of "Schema play"
Be confident to take written observations of your key children, document on focus sheets, and share with their parents

Develop learning journal books of individual childs interests and education, and share these with their parents

Work in close, yet professional partnership with parents to understand the child in a holistic way

Have high expectations for the children

Have a good standard of hygiene

Be able to work well with colleagues in a professional sense

Jayne's Nursery would require someone that has some experience of Childcare and Education, a level 3 is preferred and someone who has a good work ethic.

This role is a job share, so you would need to work well in communicating with your colleague to help this role work smoothly. You would also be working alongside a full time practitioner.
