Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing young children's learning and development in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Create a safe and welcoming environment for children, ensuring their well-being at all times. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support individual learning needs. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of care and education is delivered consistently. Support children in developing their social skills through play and group activities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Demonstrated management and leadership skills to guide junior staff effectively. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations if necessary. Experience in creating inclusive environments that cater to diverse needs will be an advantage.
