We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. You will play a key role in supporting children's early development, following the EYFS framework, and working closely with families and the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
Support children's physical, emotional, social, and educational development.
Build positive and professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals.
Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment.
Support children with routines such as meals, toileting, and transitions.
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.
Work collaboratively with the team to create a supportive and inspiring setting.
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
A genuine passion for working with young children.
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
Experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
