Job Summary



Due to our continuing expansion, we require

Qualified Early Years Practitioners who have Level 3 Childcare qualifications to join our busy nursery, experience with babies and children up to 48 months

is required.



Level2/3 in Health and Social is NOT a recognisable childcare qualification.



The position available is 32/40 hours over 4x 8 hour days or 4 x 10 hour days per week

This is a permanent position, please specify 32 or 40 hours.


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Early Childhood Education and a genuine love for nurturing and developing young children. You will play a crucial role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.

Duties



Manage daily activities and routines within the nursery setting. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that promotes health and well-being. Hardworking and a dedicated professional, who enjoys working with young children. Enjoys reading stories and sing with the children. Enjoys getting messy and creative with the children. Be motivated and imaginative and able to challenge and inspire all children to achieve their full potential Part of a dedicated team of professionals, who provide the best early years care and education, Professional, reliable and a team player Be a key worker for a group of children. Qualified to minimum Level 3 in Childcare, ideally with post qualifying experience.

Level2/3 in Health and Social Care

is

NOT

a recognisable childcare qualification Confident in their knowledge of the EYFS Flexible to the children's needs. Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for early years education and the development of young minds. A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity.

A covering letter and full CV with explainable gaps in history is required. Anyone with any unexplained gaps in their CV will be disregarded due to safeguarding. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all our staff to share this commitment.

You must be able to work hours between 7.15am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
