Thrumpton Kids Clubs are looking for a passionate and self-motivated early years practitioner to become part of a small, talented and dedicated staff team. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 10 am - 5.30 pm term time, in addition, the candidate will also be expected to be available for holiday clubs up to their normal working hours.
Applicants must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Educator qualification.
Responsibilities
Day to day setting up and preparation of safe, creative and appropriate multicultural play opportunities and activities, organising the programme etc.
Providing full care for the children including preparation of snacks and foods for the children.
Administering first aid as appropriate.
Encouraging parental involvement and support.
Close liaison with parents and other childcare agencies.
Attending meetings and supervision sessions as appropriate.
Carry out responsibilities and activities within an equal opportunities framework.
Working within agreed policies e.g. child protection policy.
Ensure the children are received and collected safely by a named adult.
Ensure the safe collection of children from school during school term time.
The successful candidate is to start as soon as practicable following relevant DBS checks and references received.
