Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Room Leader vacancy at St Michael's Pre-school Woolmer Green.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at a thriving setting, under the direction of the Pre-school Leader and Management Committee, where we focus on supporting every child to reach their full potential through fun and engaging play opportunities. You will be working with a dedicated team in a caring, family friendly, characterful, and stimulating environment which is inviting to children, parents, and staff. We offer the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to children aged 2 - 5 years in a beautiful village setting.

Applicants must hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification and have experience as Room Leader.

You are required to have a sound knowledge of safeguarding and must be able to demonstrate a high level of practice and knowledge. You must work in a professional manner, be honest, reliable, enthusiastic, motivated, and meet the needs of the setting. You must have the ability to form caring and trusting relationships with children and their families and ensure confidentiality at all times. You will need to consistently meet all the EYFS safeguarding and welfare requirements and education curriculum, delivering standards which ensure the highest possible inspection grading.

Starting salary: 12.42 per hour. The management committee are happy to negotiate dependent on experience.

Hours of work: 20-30 hours per week. Monday-Friday, term time only. The management committee would consider some flexibility of hours for the right candidate.

Due to the nature of this role, candidates will be subject to UK eligibility checks together with DBS and all other relevant checks. Safeguarding children is paramount within our setting. If your application is successful, you will be invited for an in-depth interview. Any discrepancies in your application will be questioned. Candidates will need to provide suitable referees, one of which MUST be your current/most recent employee.
