Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. You will play a crucial part in their development, helping them to explore and learn through play and structured activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.

Duties

Create and implement engaging educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of the nursery environment. Drive initiatives that encourage children's creativity and independence through various activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised classroom space that meets health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing situations. A genuine drive to support children's learning and development through innovative teaching methods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.31 per hour
