Ponsanooth Preschool are seeking an Early Years Practitioner.
We are looking to employ a Level 3 Early Years and out of hours care Practitioner to join our dedicated and welcoming team.
This is a great opportunity to work as part of an expanding, strong and committed team in a fantastic Preschool, within a new a building with a recently developed outdoor space based on the playing field in the heart of the village. The setting is a registered charity that is actively supported by our community.
Full time or part time position available for the right candidate, will include some 7.30am starts and 6pm finishes during term time only - hours to be discussed at interview stage and can be flexible for the right candidate.
Your role and responsibilities will be to provide safe, high quality EYFS education and care for young children, meeting the individual needs of the children attending the setting.
. Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
An excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
Experience of working as a key worker for a group of children and their families.
The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding roles and responsibilities and their own position within these. Whilst being reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to ensuring the highest standard of care to the children within this setting.
Pediatric First Aid - Training can be provided. The successful candidate must have: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
This post requires a DBS check as there may be periods of unsupervised access to children. An Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references would be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
Minimum of 13.00 an hour with additional holiday pay - discussion of pay at the interview stage.
