Level 3 Forest School Leader
to join our team and inspire young minds through meaningful, nature-based experiences.As a Forest School Leader, you'll champion curiosity, resilience, and environmental awareness through hands-on outdoor learning.
Duties
Plan and deliver weekly Forest School sessions with the rest of the team, in line with Forest School principles. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all learners. Adhere to existing risk assessments and maintain site safety. Promote respect for nature and sustainable practices.
Essential Requirements:
Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification. Experience working with children in outdoor education or similar settings. Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). First Aid qualification (ideally Outdoor/Forest School-specific). Strong knowledge of child development and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desirable:
Experience supporting children with additional needs. Background in education, youth work, early years, or outdoor pursuits. Knowledge of local flora and fauna.
Job Types: Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: Up to 100.00 per day
Work Location: In person
