We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gym Instructor to join our Fitness team. It is essential that applicants are qualified at Level 3 in Fitness Instructing minimum. As a Fitness Instructor, part of your role is to maintain the activity areas, monitor gym users activity and report any maintenance issues, keep all areas clean by being hands on and completing regular cleaning tasks. Being approachable to customers, delivering inductions, creating programmes for them to follow and delivering studio and gym floor classes.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct pre-exercise screening and Inductions for new gym members.

- Identifying and agreeing smart short- medium- and long-term goals.

- Plan and deliver a variety of classes, both studio and Gym floor lead.

- Providing 1-2-1 or small group inductions including gym rules and use of equipment.

- Creating bespoke programmes suitable for each individual taking into account needs and abilities with safety always in mind.

- Selecting and correctly demonstrating a variety of training methods that can be used by customers.

- Providing customers with general gym exercise advice.

- Provide assistance to customers at all times in order to correct unsafe techniques.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the Health & wellbeing industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of gym equipment usage and training techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with individuals of all ages and skill levels.
- L3 Gym Instructor qualification.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
