Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (bank Staff)
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and committed Level 3 Bank Practitioner to join our nursery team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality childcare and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children. This is a flexible bank staff position, with working hours that will vary from week to week depending on the nursery's staffing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and promote a high standard of care and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of age-appropriate activities to support children's development.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and contribute to assessments as required.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies are adhered to at all times.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
Provide flexible cover to support staff absence, annual leave, or periods of increased demand.
Essential Criteria
A full and relevant
Level 3 Early Years qualification
(or equivalent). Previous experience in a childcare or early years setting. Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly and work across all age groups. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).Desirable Criteria
Paediatric First Aid certificate. Evidence of ongoing professional development. Experience working in a childcare role.
