Nursery Practitioner Level 3

About us

Kabuki Childcare is situated in Barnsley town centre and provides an excellent quality of childcare from birth up to five-years-old and additional wrap around care for children up to the age of eight. Founded in 2013 Kabuki is a family run business which strives to deliver an outstanding level of care and develop long lasting relationships with both children and parents.

The nursery setting aims to deliver EYFS through creative activities such as singing, dance, music, drama, role play and other creative arts. The centre has 'in house' performing arts specialist's who works alongside its team of dedicated and highly trained staff. We also offer frequent visits and outings to local places of interest along side daily music and dance classes.

The nursery offers a huge range of facilities such as a sensory room and adventure playground as well as boasting two large play areas, baby room and courtyard.

All meals are cooked fresh on the premises and all dietary requirements are catered for.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced practitioner, qualified to a

minimum of level 3

to join our ever expanding setting here at Kabuki Childcare Centre.

The successful applicant must have an excellent understanding of current legislation and the EYFS and hold

at least 1 years experience

working with children 0-5 years.

We are looking for multiple practitioners, full time, part time and apprenticeships available.

Please note that additional hours will be avaliable if successful

Duties include providing high quality care, planning stimulating activities based on children's individual needs and tracking and monitoring their progress through observation.
You will ensure the children feel safe and secure and provide opportunities for them to learn both indoor and outdoors.

The successful candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills as well as an extensive knowledge of safeguarding children and ideally hold a paediatric first aid certificate and a food hygiene certificate.

This position is subject to suitable references and an enhanced DBS check.

We are open 51 weeks of the year and are closed over the Christmas period and bank holidays.
