The Lambs Christian School Nursery is a longstanding independent nursery based

in B19.

The role of a successful Level 3 practitioner will involve playing a pivotal role in providing inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery, while maintaining a safe, nurturing, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for all children.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in planning and delivering a range of activities that promote children's development and learning. Implement and deliver the EYFS curriculum in accordance with the children's social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs. Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times, both indoors and outdoors. Keep informative, accurate and up-to-date records and assessments. including records of progress and any behavioural and developmental reports. Report concerns about children's development or welfare to Nursery Manager. Engage positively with children, supporting their emotional and social development. Encourage children to explore and, play and learn through age-appropriate activities. Compliance to all health and safety policies and procedures. Assist with personal care routines including diaper changes, toilet training and feeding, ensuring children's hygiene needs are met. Promote in independence in personal care where appropriate. Respond to each child's need for individual care and attention and provide a high level of care and supervision that will enhance the children's general health and wellbeing. Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment as well as ensure toys, play equipment and play areas are cleaned and stored properly. Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and carers sharing relevant information about children's progress and needs. Be a team player. Compliance to Lambs nursery's policies.

Attend all staff meetings Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall team effort Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities Stay informed about current best practices in EYFS (Early Years Education and Care).

Skills

- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong leadership skills to manage a group of children effectively
- Passion for working with and caring for young children
- Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate children in learning activities
