Nursery Practitioner Level 3
Great opportunity to join family businesses that value its staff team and offer great scope for progression. An exciting position has arisen for an Early Years Practitioner to join the team at Forest Nursery, Pewsham, Chippenham.

Key Responsibilities

To provide high standards of quality care and education within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children. To ensure that children are kept safe, understand and when necessary follow Child Safeguarding Procedures. To demonstrate good practice with regards to children with diverse needs and inclusion. Support all children with SEN (Special educational needs) and/or a disability To work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members to provide outstanding childcare. To plan appropriately for your key children using the EYFS framework To observe, support and extend children learning. To maintain accurate and effective children's records.

Essential Qualities & Skills

NVQ3, NNEB, Cache Level 3 or equivalent qualifications that meet DfE requirements A valid paediatric first aid certificate Ability to inspire, motivate and lead others within a team Effective communicator with children, parents and carers Flexible, dynamic and able to engage with children Clear vision of what excellent Early Years Practice is and extensive knowledge of the EYFS Good sense of humour and strong work ethic Creative and able to make learning fun and accessible to all children

Desirable

Food hygiene level 2 Knowledge of health and safety procedures Knowledge of risk assessments Previous experience of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Behavioural management training Child protection training Planning experience Signed up to the update service
