Job Summary



We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 or above relevant qualification and have experience caring for children 0-5 years in a Nursery setting. They should have an understanding of early childhood development and the ability to adapt practice accordingly to ensure an inclusive and challenging environment for children of all abilities.

Providing warmth, comfort and a sense of familiarity alongside a gentle, reflective approach which will allow children to develop a deeper understanding of their feelings and actions, and flourish into confident, independent individuals.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning at all times, undertaking in-the-moment risk assessments as well as daily safety checks. Adapt provision based upon observation of children's interests and development, providing a range of open-ended, engaging learning opportunities. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures.
