Overview

Mucky Pups Childcare is a large day nursery on the outskirts of Corby. It is a family run business with only one nursery. It has easy links to Kettering, Market Harborough, Rutland and Stamford which all take 15/20 minuets to travel. The nursery has been in operation for 11 years with a continuous Good OFSTED report, and is highly reputable within the town.

This is a full time, all year round position.

Mucky Pups Childcare is seeking an experienced level 3 early years educator to join our team to help run the rooms in the absence of room managers. This position is a full time/all year round role which will require someone flexible, reliable, and to be able work during the school holidays.

Essential to the role

Minimum level 3 qualification in Early Years Educator (not Health & social care) or Level 3 equivalent in Early Years Education (full and relevant)

Minimum of 6 months experience in an early years setting.

Sound knowledge of Safeguarding regulations

Sound knowledge of the EYFS

Able to work a flexible 8 hour shift, between the hours of 7am and 6pm

Ability to work during school holidays

Desirable to the role

SEND experience Safeguarding Knowledge First Aid Knowledge of Behavioural management Knowledge of the OFSTED Standards

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Implement early childhood education programs that promote learning and development. Manage children's behaviour effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress and needs. Maintain first aid certifications and adhere to health and safety regulations, and safeguarding. Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive and nurturing environment.

Pay: 27,040.00 per year
