We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing environment. Duties
Organise and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, naps, and playtime
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to health and safety policies
Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment that encourages learning and exploration
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns
Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities and share best practices in early childhood education
Assist in managing administrative tasks related to child records and activity planning
Support the management team in implementing policies related to childcare standards and regulations
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable
Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment is advantageous
Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
Experience with child development principles and early childhood education methodologies is preferred
Valid driving licence is beneficial for roles requiring transportation or home visits
Proven ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary
