Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse

40 hours per week

Bridge House Day Nursery, Pre-School, Out of School & Holiday Club - Steeton

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, shifts between 7:00am - 6:00pm

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our friendly team. The right person will bring energy, imagination and genuine warmth to their role, helping children feel safe, valued and excited to learn.

About you and the role:

You naturally create a welcoming, happy environment where children feel comfortable and confident. You enjoy humour at a child's level and can fully commit to their imaginative play - whether that's sailing pirate ships or hosting a teddy bears' picnic. You're confident communicating openly with both children and adults throughout the day. Singing talent isn't essential, but enthusiasm absolutely is - especially when joining in group activities. You understand the importance of physical reassurance and offer comfort when it's needed. You're attentive, alert and skilled at supervising busy, active little learners. You're unfazed by messy play, unexpected spills, or the occasional mystery substance appearing on your clothes. You're comfortable supporting children through all aspects of personal care and daily routines. You can convincingly enjoy pretend food and drinks served with pride from the play kitchen. Story time is something you embrace, even when books are upside down and interruptions are frequent. You bring patience, kindness and creativity to help children navigate emotions, challenges and new experiences. Most importantly, you're ready to enjoy your work, share plenty of laughter, and become a trusted, valued part of children's early years journey.

Pay: 11.00-13.21 per hour
