We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to fostering the growth and development of young children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. The Nursery Practitioner will work closely with children to support their learning and development while ensuring their well-being.
Duties
Provide attentive care to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
Support children with special needs or disabilities, utilizing appropriate behavior management techniques.
Foster positive relationships with children through engaging play, teaching, and nurturing interactions.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
Document children's developmental milestones and maintain accurate records of their progress.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in various capacities such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny/babysitter.
Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques and caregiving best practices.
Experience in providing care for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
First aid certification is preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate.
Background in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
