This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, ensuring their safety and development while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Duties
Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive atmosphere.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and organised at all times.
Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
Qualifications
A recognised
Level 3
qualification in
Early Years
or equivalent experience is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage groups of children effectively while promoting positive behaviour.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and colleagues.
A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
Full Time
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.

To be considered for the role of Nursery Practitioner, you will need;
NNEB or a full and relevant
Level 3 Early Education and Childcare qualification
(e.g. NVQ/Diploma/BTEC)
Passion/dedication to working with children
Good knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding and Health and Safety
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Liaise with and develop good relationships with parents and staff
