Happi Feet Nursery is a new and welcoming nursery in the heart of Gillingham, dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for young children. We are now looking for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our fantastic team on a

term-time only basis

.

Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner:

Act as a dedicated key person for a group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met and building strong bonds with them and their families. Plan, create, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Maintain accurate and up-to-date learning journey records for your key children, tracking their progress and planning for their next steps. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and secure. Work in partnership with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on their child's development. Uphold all nursery policies and procedures, with a strong focus on safeguarding and health & safety. Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the room.

What You Will Bring:

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is essential (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3).

A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding principles. A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them to achieve their full potential. A warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A Paediatric First Aid certificate is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.

What We Offer:

A competitive pro-rata salary based on a full-time equivalent of 20,000 - 25,500 per annum. A highly desirable
