We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children under 2. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children, parents and your colleagues will be essential in fostering positive relationships within the nursery setting.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 9months to 2 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the nursery curriculum.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
Manage daily routines, ensuring that children's needs are met in a timely manner.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team environment and share best practices.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery space that promotes learning through play.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
Qualifications
A recognised level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
2 years previous experience working with children 9 months to 2 years in a nursery or childcare setting is essential .
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to engage with young children positively.
Ability to drive initiatives that support children's learning and development within the under 2s room.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices in early childhood education.
