Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times. Collaborate with other practitioners to maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Support the management team in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and nursery policies.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 2 or Level 3). Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
